MUS 409: Music Theory VIII: Contemporary Music (3) (Offered on Demand)

This course is a study of compositional techniques since 1945. The students will study the writings of post 19th-Century music theorists including Hindemith and Schenker and analyze related scores.

Prerequisite: MUS 209.
