PHSC 200: Foundations of Pharmaceutical Sciences (1) (F,S)

This course presents an overview of pharmaceutical sciences as a group of related biomedical disciplines with functional relevance to all aspects of drug discovery, development, production and use. Students will gain basic knowledge in physical, chemical, and biological sciences as related to use, administration, effects, manufacturing and preservation of drugs. The course will give students overview of the major and provide basic knowledge and foundation for the curriculum.
