POLS 484: International Organization (3) (S)
Course explores membership in international and regional organizations, their genesis and historical evolution. Examination of the activities of governmental and non-governmental organization; their logic of design; their objectives; and some of the ways these organizations respond to global challenges such as, threats to international peace and security and, in particular, terrorism; egregious international crimes; endemic poverty; global warming; and persistent underdevelopment among some members of the international community. No Prerequisite.
