ENGT 415: Machine Design (3) (F)

This course covers topics related to stress analysis, the strength of mechanical elements, design of machine elements such as gears, belt drives, chain drives, screws, fasteners, connectors, and springs, welded, brazed, and bonded joints, bearing, shafts, cams and flexible mechanical elements, and statistical considerations in design. Prerequisite: ENGT 385.
