TECH 465: Microprocessors II (4) (F)

Study of microcontroller-based applications, PIC microcontroller architecture and interfacing. Topics include a review of microprocessor-based controller and data processing computer systems and associated peripheral devices and control software, I/O port operations and programming, basic transducers and actuator interfaces including ADC and DAC. PicBasicPro compiler and meLabs programmer will be introduced for programming microcontroller chip. Labs and a project using PIC microcontrollers are also covered.
