The General Studies Advisory Board

The General Studies Advisory Board (GSAB) functions as an advisory committee to the Chairperson of the Department of General Studies. The primary purpose of the GSAB is to assist the Chairperson in the planning, implementation, communication, and assessment of general education programs and curriculum. The GSAB makes recommendations to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs through the Chairperson of the Department.

The composition of the board's membership shall include faculty representatives from the degree granting programs and a representative from the following areas: Honors Program, Library, Institutional Effectiveness, Registrar's Office, and the Office of Retention.
