Co-Admissions Programs

Elizabeth City State University’s co-admissions programs are designed to provide community college students working toward an A.S. or A.A. a clear path to ECSU and their bachelor’s degrees.

The agreements are designed to improve transfer student access and success through a collaborative degree completion program. We are proud to partner with participating North Carolina community colleges to offer robust co-admissions transfer programs for interested and eligible students.

Co-admission benefits

As a co-admissions student, not only can you easily transfer your community college credits to ECSU, you’ll save thousands of dollars in tuition and fees your first two years of college, you can live like a Viking from day one. As a community college student, you’ll still enjoy access to our on-campus resources such as the library, computer labs and the Ridley Wellness Center.

Degree Options

Co-Admissions students will automatically be eligible to complete most of ECSU’s bachelor’s degree programs, with the exception of certain programs and majors that require auditions or additional admissions criteria. Students must meet the prevailing requirements at the time of enrollment at ECSU.
