Reapplying for Aid

Reapplying for Aid

All students must reapply for financial aid each year. The priority funding deadline to renew your financial aid is March 1st. The deadline to reapply for financial aid and have your file process for the fall semester is June1. All financial aid awards are reviewed annually based on:

  • the timely completion of the financial aid application process
  • continued demonstrated financial need
  • maintenance of Standards of Progress
  • availability of resources

Most institutional and foundation scholarships require a cumulative grade point average of 2.5. Entering Freshmen are limited to receiving foundation scholarships for the first eight (8) terms of full-time enrollment. Students are limited to receiving scholarships for two (2) semesters of enrollment during an academic year (Fall and Spring). A transfer student's eligibility will be determined on an individual basis depending upon hours transferred.

If you completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) when applying for financial aid for the previous academic year, you should receive an email from the U.S. Department of Education with instructions about how to once again submit the application electronically.

Failure to reapply for financial aid each year will result in a loss of financial aid for that year and possibly subsequent years.
