Application Guidelines

Students who apply for the program will be required to submit a personal statement describing their interest in the program and how they expect to benefit as participants from the academic, cultural, and global perspective.

Each student will be required to submit a copy of his/her resume/curriculum vita, transcript, and (3) three letters of recommendation from instructors in the major, academic advisor, etc.  Each applicant who meets all of the above criteria will be interviewed by panels of faculty members in the students discipline, and the panels will make recommendations to the E-SPARE Steering Committee.

Complete applications for the 2010 E-SPARE Scholars must be submitted by November 12, 2009.  You may print the application by clicking the link below, or you may call to request that an application be mailed directly to you (see contact page).  Please be sure that all of the following information is included when you return your application package:

  • Completed Application Form
  • Proof of USA Citizenship/Permanent Residency 
  • Official Transcript with cumulative GPA = 3.00
  • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation
  • Curriculum Vita / Resume
  • Personal Statement (including career goals)
