Mail Services is the distribution hub for all incoming and outgoing mail, as well as inter-campus mail. As an official USPS unit, we offer many of the services you’ve come to expect from USPS such as Express Mail, Priority Mail, Registered Mail, Certified Mail, and Insured Mail.

*Acceptable payment methods include E-CA$H, cash, and checks.


Getting a Mailbox

Mailbox Assignment and Key Pick Up:

All students living on campus can request a personal mailbox.

To receive a mailbox and key, you must first complete the Mailbox Rental & Key Request Form. Once you have been assigned a mailbox you will receive an email with your assigned mailbox number and instruction for picking up your assigned mailbox key. You must present your Viking ID Card to receive your key. 

Key Return Policy:

At the end of the Academic Year, or if you move out of the dorms during the Academic Year, you must return your key in person to the University Post Office during window hours and sign it back in with your ID or you will be charged a missing key fee of $20. Do not return your key to Housing Services.

Items not properly addressed may cause a delay in processing or be returned to the sender.  

Never mail the following items:

  • Cash or Credit cards
  • Prescription Medication (If you must have medications mailed to you, please use USPS Express, UPS Next Day or FedEx Express
  • Passport
  • Keys

 

Package Pick-Up Policies

  1. You will be notified by email when you receive a package
  2. Bring your Viking ID card when picking up your package - All package pick-ups require a valid campus ID
  3. You must pick up your own package during normal mailroom hours, and only after being notified that it is ready for pick up
