What is Clearance?
Clearance is when all required documentation is provided and confirmed and/or your bill is paid in full. Clearance is provided by the Office of Student Accounts .
Any student not cleared by Friday, August 6, 2021 at 5pm will have their class schedules cancelled for non-payment.
Fall 2021 semester bills are due on Friday, August 6, 2021 by 5pm. Classes start on August 17, 2021.
Email notifications will be sent to all students of their clearance status beginning Friday, July 30, 2021. If cleared, book rental orders will be fulfilled within 24-48 hours.
Step 1. Register for classes (Either with an advisor or through SSB)
Step 2. Accept Financial Aid terms and conditions (SSB)
Step 3. Pay your tuition bill (financial aid, payment plan, pay in full, etc.)
Step 4. Receive an email of cleared status
Step 5. If residing on campus, move in
- Hold will be placed on account
- Receive an email that you are not cleared
- Schedule could be dropped/cancelled
- Will not be able to start class
- Cannot move into resident halls
- Cannot use meal plans
- Will not receive book rental order
