Have you answered your phone and heard the voice of an ECSU student sharing information about the university or seeking a financial contribution? If so, you have experienced the work of the Kennis E. and Brenda E. Wilkins Call Center. 

Opened in 2006, the Wilkins Call Center was named after two generous donors, Kennis E. and Brenda E. Wilkins in 2008. Mr. Wilkins, is a former member of the ECSU Foundation Board of Directors, serving for nine years. He and his wife are members of the Class of 1976 and of the A.P. Lester Alumni Chapter. 

The Wilkins Call Center:

  • Supports ECSU's Annual Fund by raising alumni and parent participation rates, increasing gifts, acquiring new donors, providing information and engaging alumni and parents in Elizabeth City State University.
  • Helps to establish and continue positive rapport with our constituents, which may make them give more often and at higher levels.
  • Helps to maintain open lines of communication and forge strong support networks.
  • Allows the university to foster good public relations, raise funds, update records, educate our constituents on program needs, express appreciation for past support, upgrade donors and cultivate prospective donors.
