Student Rights, Responsibilities and Complaints

Elizabeth City State University is committed to providing a safe environment for students to matriculate and reside on campus. The rules and regulations are formulated to promote the educational, social and cultural well-being of students attending the University.

The Office of Student Affairs promotes student awareness of their rights and responsibilities. We are committed to educating them on expected standards of behavior via our Student Code of Conduct and influencing them to consider in advance the consequences of unacceptable behavior.

The staff is available to advise all students of their rights under the Student Code Of Conduct, how to file an official complaint and to clarify University policies and procedure as pertaining to student conduct.
