Community of Biology and Mathematics Scholars

Mission:

To provide Biology and Mathematics majors an opportunity to reside on campus that promotes an environment of cohort studying and learning.

Vision:

To provide an opportunity for Biology and Mathematics Majors to live together in an environment where tutoring, advising, mentoring, and survival skills are forged. 

Goals:

• Overcome barriers in courses with high failure rates
• Improve study habits
• Cohort living and learning

Eligibility:

• Biology or Mathematics Major
• S. Citizen
• Complete a minimum of 15 credit hours per semester
• Demonstrate need (determined by FAFSA)

Expectations:

• Participate in bi-weekly meetings with STEM Navigator
• Participate in meetings with Mentor
• Successfully monitor and support your academic success
