If you live on campus for the Fall 2022 semester, we will automatically award you a one-time $1,000 grant towards your housing and meal plan.   After that, there is nothing else you need to do!  We’ll apply the grant to your student account before the Fall 2022 bill due date.

Visit our Housing and Meal Grant FAQs for more information.

The Successful Retention Grant can help if you’ve “stopped out” of school, meaning you withdrew from college temporarily and then re-enrolled at ECSU a later date.  These grants range from $150 to $4,000 per student and focus on student retention.

Thank you to Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina for its financial support of our students.  APPLY NOW.

ECSU understands the COVID-19 pandemic has created significant financial challenges for many of our students, and we want to offer you support. Our emergency relief grants support students during times of distress, and are awarded on an ongoing basis. IMPORTANT: The emergency assistance awards are not considered financial aid and do not affect a student’s current or future financial aid eligibility.  LET US HELP.

ECSU has a commitment to providing support and assistance to students in the pursuit of their academic degrees. The University and its supporters know that unforeseen circumstances may arise that hinder that progress. APPLY TODAY!
