Elizabeth City, NC — The Department of Business, Accounting and Sport Management at Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) will host CreativeVerse: College Edition, a one-day entrepreneurship experience designed specifically for creatives, Feb. 4, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Moore Hall Auditorium.

CreativeVerse is an annual national conference that empowers individuals in creative fields to transform their ideas into sustainable ventures. Sponsored by leading organizations including Red Hat and Adobe Express, CreativeVerse brings together industry professionals to share practical insights on branding, pricing, intellectual property protection and building viable creative careers.

This year marks a milestone as CreativeVerse makes its first-ever College Edition, hosted exclusively at ECSU. Founder Elton Benjamin will join a diverse lineup of professionals from creative industries such as art, design, music, film, and digital media to engage students and community creatives in a full day of learning and inspiration.

“CreativeVerse aligns perfectly with our commitment to experiential learning and entrepreneurship,” said Kim Scott, assistant professor of Management and Entrepreneurship and associate director of International Programs at ECSU. “This event is about helping creatives understand the business side of their talent so their creativity doesn’t just inspire but sustains them.”
