Elizabeth City, NC—Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) will host its 2026 Summer Camp from June 8 through July 2, 2026. The camp will operate Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., with drop-off and pick-up taking place at the Williams Hall Gym on the ECSU campus.
The program is open to children ages 6 through 14 and is designed to provide a safe, structured, and engaging environment that promotes learning, personal growth, and physical activity throughout the summer.
Families who register early between Feb. 1, 2026, and March 31, 2026, will receive a discounted rate of $175 per week. Regular registration begins April 1, 2026, at a rate of $250 per week.
The weekly fee includes daily activities, educational information sessions, swimming, breakfast, lunch, and a daily snack. Campers will also participate in one overnight stay during the program, which includes Thursday dinner.
Throughout the camp, participants will engage in learning experiences focused on healthy wellness tips, substance abuse awareness related to alcohol and other drugs, mental health awareness and wellbeing, sports and physical activity, bullying awareness, and the importance of education.
