Faculty Development
The Faculty Development program at the Center for Teaching, Learning & Digital Education supports instructors in advancing their teaching effectiveness, innovation, and engagement. Through workshops, learning communities, and customized support, faculty gain access to evidence-based instructional strategies, and resources that enhance both in-person and digital classrooms.
Goals:
- Foster innovation in teaching and learning that aligns with the university’s commitment to developing innovative academic programs.
- Equip faculty with tools to improve student engagement and learning outcomes, directly contributing to student success.

- Writing Bootcamp
This bootcamp is designed to help you make time for writing and reflection and to form a scholarly learning community of writers who can help you keep the momentum going. Participants will gather in person and virtually with other ECSU faculty who are eager to move forward this fall with their research-related writing (books, articles, dissertations, statements, grants, proposals, creative projects, etc.).The opening session will be an introductory workshop to discuss our roles as writers and scholars and share strategies for managing our work and creating a writing community. After that session, the bootcamp will meet on dates designated in the CTL calendar for shared reflection on your own writing, and just writing together.
