| Local Supercomputing infrastructure at SUBR, fully available to Dr. Yang’s group. The computing emphasis of Yang’s group includes atomistic simulation, thermodynamics of alloys to generate phase diagrams, material simulations and machine learning. | Dr. Yang research group includes two undergraduates, three graduate students, one postdoc, and one professor. The undergraduate and graduate students are trained on computational simulations and machine learning. The group also carries out critical experimentations on high-entropy alloys to generate fresh data or to validate computational predictions. |

| Seminar on simulation of high-entropy alloys offered by Dr. Zhang, SUBR. Dr. Yang’s group meeting is hosted every Friday. | Undergraduate and graduate students are trained to use a high-quality microscope for loading samples into diamond anvil cell (DAC), which is used for the high-pressure and high-temperature experimentations. After the trainings, the students get fully involved with the senior scientists. |
